Annalese Ferrari debuts as new face of British Rallycross
The Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy Presented by Cooper Tires hasn’t had quite the anticipated relaunch with the current pandemic curtailing activities, but 5 Nations BRX is continuing with plans for when track action is possible.
A significant change for 5 Nations BRX is the introduction of Annalese Ferrari as regular presenter in the revamped championship coverage.
Annalese is not only a TV presenter, having covered events such as the 2019 World Rally Championship Wales GB, she is a race license holder, having raced in various championships including the Mazda MX-5 Supercup. Annalese has worked in film, TV and commercials for eight years, with experience including driving Tom Cruise on Edge Of Tomorrow in a big driving stunt scene.
She was nominated for the USA’s Screen Actors Guild Awards for her stunt work on 24:Live Another Day. She has worked as a stunt double for many actresses including Emily Blunt, Alicia Vikander, Georgia May Jagger, Yvonne Strahovski, Gabriella Wilde and Heida Reed. Annalese’s most recent work was stunt driving for a McDonalds commercial.
Away from four wheels, Annalese also performs equestrian stunts and is a keen horse rider. She also models.
Annalese's first task is to host a series of interviews through the coming weeks that will be found on all 5 Nations BRX social media channels.
Pat Doran, Managing Director, 5 Nations BRX:
“We’re very pleased to welcome Annalese to the 5 Nations BRX team. We’re delighted that she will be adding her glamour and excitement to the championship. While we can’t get out and about yet, it’s great that Annalese is able to see what some of our drivers are up to and keep us entertained.”
Annalese Ferrari, 5 Nations BRX TV:
"I am really excited to be involved with 5 Nations BRX for 2020 and I can't wait for the season to start. Rallycross is definitely one of the most exhilarating forms of motorsport with close and competitive racing along with excellent displays of car control across varying surfaces and insanely high powered cars, I am really looking forward to seeing all of the cars and drivers in action."
