Croft hosts Rallycross finale
Next weekend sees the North Yorkshire circuit of Croft host the final round of the 2015 MSA British Rallycross Championship in association with the Shannon Group on the Saturday with the prestigious Procters Coaches MSA British Rallycross Grand Prix closing out the season on the Sunday.
Both days will be hotly contested, with the title for this year still to be decided. Julian Godfrey will be aiming to retain his British title, but do not discount Andy Scott who will want to take the title home to Dumfries too in the battle of the MSA Supercars in association with Odyssey batteries.
Word is that Ollie O’Donovan will use his Ford Focus at Croft as his normal mount, the Ford Fiesta will be on its way already to the World Rallycross in Italy. Kevin Procter will want to do well at his home circuit too.
The MSA Supernational will see the title go to either Daniel Rooke or Gareth Wood, both of whom have driven well all year.
Titles too have to be decided in the likes of the RX150’s and the MSA Swift Juniors as well as a few other classes, so next weekend is shaping up to be a very good one.
There will be the usual class battles throughout both days, and the word is that there could well be a British Rally Champion taking part, not to mention the possibility of another driver from the stage of World Rallycross.
Andrew Coley seems to have got the driving bug once again, and following his appearance at Lydden in an RX150, dons his racesuit once again and will drive the Xtreme Citroën Super 1600 C2, normally driven by Craig Lomax.
Keep an eye out for the latest entry lists, which will be online soon as well as other updates for next weekend with driver and team news and will also be available at
