Encouraging Super 1600 test for Lomax
Having already secured the Hot Hatch 2014 title team XtremeRX were already looking towards 2015 and new challenges and specifically the step into the Super 1600 class.
The team had prepared the car as usual. Effectively they ran their stock Hot Hatch in Super 1600 with no alterations at all!
Gaining a second in the first and then two solid third places didn’t reflect the closeness of the heats, quite often seeing Lomax leading the pack. Which resulted in a well fought third overall for the team
Asked afterwards Lomax commented:
‘I felt the step up to super 1600 went very well considering I was down by 40-50 bhp. I did drive the wheels off the car and there was nothing left in it. We are already very excited about next year and development into a new car is already well underway’
Lomax is always quick to acknowledge the support of the team that worked tirelessly during 2014 to win him the Hot Hatch crown
"I could not have done any off this with out the help of the team it's been a great team effort."
