Live streaming service added to 5 Nations BRX digital output for 2025
The Motorsport UK British Rallycross Championship 5 Nations Trophy will be covered by a free-to-view live stream broadcast package in 2025, as part of an increased digital output.
The series trialled on-site live streaming in the final rounds of 2024 to ensure it could deliver an output to the required standard, and will now broadcast action live from events in the coming season.
The free-to-view service will be delivered in addition to all of the finals from each category being individually published via championship channels, with coverage of the headline Supercar category being distributed on the evening of each round.
Commentators for the broadcast package – which will continue to utilise an existing relationship with Digitex Television – will be announced in due course.
The Championship’s social media will also increase in quality for 2025 with the services of leading Social Media company Turn1 being extended from on-event only in 2024, to between events too for this season.
Drew Furlong, 5 Nations BRX Championship Manager:
“We have been asked many times about a live stream broadcast, but with the budget limitations of the current climate, those responsible within the 5 Nations BRX team didn’t want to jump the gun and not be able to deliver a quality product that was rushed. Having executed tests in the final part of last year, we feel the time is right to proceed with this. We are also pleased to be able to further deliver on the Social Media output for this year as that is so important to the growth of this series. We are excited to make further announcements about plans for 2025 in the coming days and weeks.”
