Lomax and Taylor ready for Lydden HIll
This weekend sees the British Rallycross championship head to Lydden Hill, a popular circuit with drivers. Ahead of the Bank Holiday meeting British Rallycross caught up with Jake Taylor and Craig Lomax.......
With 6 rounds of his first Senior Swift Rallycross season under his belt,Jake Taylor is not about to let his own demanding high standards slip one bit. His plan however is to continue to learn and push hard.
With the help of World class Rallycross preparation outfit Autopoint Specialist engineering, Taylor has driven his Wallrock backed Swift to 6th place in the championship seeing off challenges by more seasoned drivers.
As Taylor returns to his favorite venue on the race calendar not only will he be pushing hard whilst competing, he will also be running the Wallrock competition prize winner passenger ride. Looking forward to this weekend’s action at Lydden, Taylor told British Rallycross
“It’s been a big step and a huge learning curve making the move up to the seniors this season and a challenge that I have massively enjoyed."With the support of Autopoint Specialist Engineering I have captured and learned an incredible amount with every single event from racing techniques, strategy and basic car setup. My plan to learn and improve this season has really come together with their help, it’s amazing to work with a world class team.”
