Osian Pryce to make rallycross debut at Pembrey
Top Welsh rally driver Osian Pryce will make his rallycross debut at the sixth round of the MSA British Rallycross Championship in association with ODYSSEY Battery this weekend at Pembrey, racing the celebrity buggy in the RX150 Rallycross Championship category.
Pryce currently leads the Drive DMACK Fiesta Trophy with one round remaining, having claimed two victories this season in the FIA World Rally Championship support category. The rallycross newcomer will test the ODYSSEY Battery celebrity RX150 buggy ahead of the event at Pembrey this weekend. “I’ve always wanted to have a go at rallycross. This is a great introduction to the sport, getting in at the sharp end in the RX150 Championship. I’ll have to learn fast,” said Pryce. “It will be nice to get behind the wheel of something a little bit different to what I’m used to, which is exciting to watch too . The buggies are not like anything I’ve really driven before but I’m really looking forward to it. I’ve watched a lot of videos and they look like they put a smile on your face, even just listening to them. I’m sure it will be pretty exciting having all that power sat just behind your seat. I’m just going to hang on and enjoy it.”
The full entry list for the sixth round of the MSA British Rallycross Championship at Pembrey will be released today (Tuesday) at 14.00.
