Swift return for Mullen Motorsport
With only a few days to go until the first round of the British Rallycross Championship, the Mullen Motorsport team have been busy doing the final preparations for the trip down to Lydden Hill, Kent.
After a successful 2013 season for Chris and his Team, where they won 'Best Turned out Team' at the recent annual British Rallycross Awards Dinner, and were the runners up in the Super 1600 Championship too, excitement levels are high to get back on the start line.
Following on from the winter months of rebuilding the car, and seeking new sponsors whilst retaining the helpof his current ones, Chris made the decision to race in the Suzuki Swift Championship for 2014. Here, he will be racing the likes of Rob Maynard, Tristan Ovenden and Graham Rodemark along with brand new drivers entered for 2014, making the Championship even more exciting to watch for spectators.
Ending the last season with GSF Car Parts and Gourmet Burger Kitchen, the 2014 season sees Chris starting with GSF and Queenswood Service Centre, along with new names such as Power Maxed Racing and TAAG (The Accident Aftercare Group). Chris explained; ‘I am so thrilled to be starting the season with new companies on board, the support I have received over the non-racing months has been phenomenal, I can’t thank people enough and just can’t wait to be out on the circuits racing for that number 1 title again’.
