Villeneuve stars at British Rallycross Test Day
Today at Lydden saw the sun shine, and competitors take the opportunity to carry out some testing ahead of the first round of the 2014 British Rallycross at Lydden Hill in March.
The big surprise for those at Lydden was the arrival of the Former Williams GP driver and Formula One World Champion Jacques Villeneuve to test with his team Albatec Racing and the Peugeot 208 Super Car.
British Rallycross were able to talk to him during the day and the interview with him can be found here

For those at Lydden, the sun was a welcome break from the recent weather and we saw some new drivers in new cars, as well as some long term supporters of Rallycross in action at Lydden.
The RX150's were out in force with the likes of James Grint, Kevin Feeney and Ollie O'Donovan taking to the track. It is hoped to have some new competitors in the RX150's when the first round takes place to join the ranks in Rallycross.

Swift Rallycross was in attendance, and was a busy area of the paddock with many taking use of the chance to sample a Suzuki Swift for the first time. Sarah Watson was delighted with the turnout and told British Rallycross, "So many people have taken the chance to come along today and sample the Swifts, its great. We sold out a couple of weeks ago, and the interest has been superb, and it bodes very well for this season."
Jennie Hawkes was out in her Swfit today, and joined by the likes of Drew Bellerby in the Junior Swifts, while the likes of Rob Maynard and Tristan Ovenden also used the day to test ahead of the opening round.
